The Atlantic Theatre Company's NY production the 1930 classic, Once in a Lifetime, by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, will end its brief run Thursday, June 18. The show opened May 31 after starting previews May 16.

Company member David Pittu directs the comedy, which tells of three vaudeville performers who hope to save their careers during the talkie era by coming to Hollywood and conning their way into a movie studio. After this play, Kaufman & Hart combined on The Man Who Came To Dinner, George Washington Slept Here and You Can't Take It With You.

Appearing in the show are Pittu, Larry Bryggman (a Tony nominee for Picnic), Kate Blumberg (Dangerous Corner), Ron Butler, Tony Carlin, Johanna Day (How I Learned to Drive), Peter Jacobson (June Moon), Amelia White, Susan Knight, Cynthia Darlow, Ron Butler, Leslie Beatty, Brad Glasser, Nina Hellman, Isabel Keating, Jennifer Rau, Herb Rubens, Charles Tuthill, Chris Carley, Michael Dowling and Olivia Newman.

Designing Lifetime are Meg Neville (costumes), Howard Werner (lighting) and James Noone (sets).
