News One Enchanted Evening Benefit Presented June 21 One Enchanted Evening, a salute to the work of the late Richard Rodgers, his daughter Mary Rodgers and her son Adam Guettel, will be presented June 21 at 7 PM at The Kaye Playhouse.

The evening, a benefit for The Acting Company, boasts the talents of Lauren Ambrose, Aaron Lazar, Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth, Tony winner Victoria Clark, Tony winner Linda Lavin, Norm Lewis, Tony winner James Naughton, Kelli O’Hara, Mary Beth Peil and Billy Stritch as well as cast members of the Tony-winning revival of South Pacific. (The previously announced Kelsey Grammer and Raul Esparza are unable to be part of the evening.)

Written by Tony winner John Doyle, the benefit was conceived by musical director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and Chris Gattelli, who directs.

Founded in 1972 by John Houseman and Margot Harley, The Acting Company has been honored with a Tony for Excellence in Theater. Founding members Kevin Kline and Patti LuPone as well as Rainn Wilson, Jesse L. Martin, Harriet Harris, Frances Conroy, Keith David, David Ogden Stiers, Jeffrey Wright and 300 others all began their careers on tour with The Acting Company.
