News "One Wicked August Night" to Benefit Gilda's Club An upcoming evening featuring cast members from the Broadway company of Wicked will benefit the charity Gilda's Club.

The Aug. 14 fundraiser will be held at the Gilda's Club townhouse in Soho and will begin at 5:30 PM when the Wicked Marketplace opens. Wicked merchandise as well as other accessories will be on sale to those attending.

At 7:30 PM, several Wicked cast members will perform. Among those scheduled to attend are Marty Thomas, Jennifer Waldman, Saycon Sengbloh, Jerad Bortz and Anthony Glade. A live auction — emceed by Thomas and Christopher Kuczewski — will also be part of the evening, which will be hosted by radio personality Valerie Smaldone.

There is an entrance fee of $25 to attend "One Wicked August Night." Gilda's Club is located in Soho at 195 West Houston Street. Call (212) 647-9700 to purchase tickets.
