Off-Broadway News One Woman Sex and the City Begins Off-Broadway September 22 The solo show parody takes audiences through six seasons of the beloved HBO show.

One Woman Sex and the City: A Parody of Love, Friendship and Shoes begins performances September 22 for an open-ended run Off-Broadway at the Jerry Orbach Theatre in Midtown Manhattan.

Starring creator Kerry Ipema, the night of theatre is a jaunt through the six seasons of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda. The show has played the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a national tour prior to its arrival Off-Broadway. Ipema plays all four women and their love interests.

The Los Angeles Daily News wrote “Kerry Ipema’s smart, hilarious sendup of ‘Sex and the City’ is more than a night of fandom – it’s a love letter to female relationships.”

Directed by co-creator TJ Dawe, tickets are $29–$47. Performances are Mondays at 7:30 PM, Thursdays at 2 PM, Fridays at 7 PM, Saturdays at 3 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. The Saturday, September 22 performance is at 5 PM. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
