News Orange County Broadway Series to Include Urinetown, Millie and Producers Several musical theatre favorites will be part of the 2003-2004 season at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, CA.

The Bank of America Broadway Series kicks off with Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance Nov. 25-29 in Segerstrom Hall. Flatley, who was the principal Irish dance choreographer of Riverdance On Broadway, serves as the artistic director of this production and says, "We've combined traditional and modern forms of dance. The season continues with Andrew Lloyd Webber's audience friendly Starlight Express, the tribute to the locomotive performed on roller skates. The musical, which was produced on Broadway in 1987, will play the Orange County Performing Arts Center Dec. 25, 2003-Jan. 4, 2004. The new year will then offer the quirky musical comedy Urinetown, April 27-May 2. The classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Oklahoma!, follows from June 15-20.

The Tony-winning Best Musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, which recently began previews in London while continuing to thrill audiences on Broadway, will play the Costa Mesa theatre July 27-Aug. 1. The season concludes with the Mel Brooks-Susan Stroman hit, The Producers, Aug. 3-22, 2004. The Orange County Performing Arts Center is located at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa, CA.
