News Oscar Nominee Bening to Offer Lecture at Pico Playhouse Academy Award nominee Annette Bening will speak as part of the Harold Clurman Lecture Series at the Pico Playhouse in Los Angeles on June 25.

The Stella Adler Studio presents the Clurman Lecture Series, which allows students to interview veteran stage and screen artists following the guest lecture. The 7 PM event is free, but reservations are limited. An Academy Award nominee for her roles in "Being Julia," "American Beauty" and "The Grifters," Bening appeared on Broadway in Coastal Disturbances, earning a Tony nomination and a Theatre World Award for her performance. The actress starred in the Actors' Fund reading of "All About Eve" at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre last November.
