Eustis directs Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin as Sid Silver, a fictionalized version of Meyer Levin, a dedicated champion of "The Diary of Anne Frank" who fought to have his version of the story produced on stage. The team discusses the history behind the play and its use of puppetry to convey Silver's obsession with the story.
