The annual list celebrates LGBT individuals who made headlines and contributed to positive messages within the gay community in 2012. Out Magazine will roll-out individuals on the list in anticipation of the Nov. 15 Out100 gala event at Canoe in New York City. The Out100 issue will be available on newsstands Nov. 20.

In addition to his work on Once, which employs an actor-musician ensemble to bring the film to life on stage, Tiffany is known for staging Black Watch for the National Theatre of Scotland. In the coming year he will direct Cherry Jones, Zachary Quinto, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Brian J. Smith in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie at the American Repertory Theater.

Glick originated the role of Ernst in Spring Awakening when it premiered Off-Broadway in 2006. He repeated his work in the Tony-winning Broadway transfer. The young actor was also among the original version of Julie Taymor's Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark, but his character was cut (in addition to several others) when revisions were made after the musical languished in previews for over six months. Last summer he appeared as Jack in the Shakespeare in the Park staging of Into the Woods.
