News Outside Inn Opens Its Doors Off-Broadway Oct. 5 Four people's lives are forever changed in the murder mystery Outside Inn, which officially opens Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters Oct. 5.

Roger Grunwald, Markus Hirnigel, Jenny Lee Mitchell and Karen Sieber appear in the production under the direction of Melanie Dreyer. Performances began Oct. 1 and continue through Oct. 19.

Andreas Jungwirth has penned the "murder mystery that takes place on three continents," according to press notes. "Paul, a disillusioned German civic engineer unintentionally participates in the death of his boss. Rather than going to the police, Paul runs away to a small town in Arizona. With his mistress by his side, Paul steals the identity of his former boss and flees across the Mexican border. The husband and wife Paul and his mistress leave behind must face a future alone and a past that continues to haunt them."

The creative team includes Stephanie Mayer-Staley (set design), Pei-Chi Su (costume design), E.D. Intemann (lighting design), Austin Guest (video design) and Nicholas Crano (sound design).
