News Ovenden to Offer A Wand'ring Minstrel's Eye at the Metropolitan Room Julian Ovenden, the Butley star who will be seen in the new ABC series "Cashmere Mafia," will go it solo at the Metropolitan Room in December.

Ovenden's cabaret program is titled A Wand'ring Minstrel's Eye and will feature musical direction by Joseph Thalken. Show time is 7 PM Dec. 10 and 17.

On the London stage Ovenden has been seen in the Donmar Warehouse productions of Grand Hotel and Merrily We Roll Along. He has also appeared on three hit U.K. television shows: "Foyle's War," "The Royal" and "The Forsyte Saga." Ovenden has performed with the BBC Symphony and Concert orchestras and the Ulster Symphony Orchestra. Ovenden made his Broadway debut as Joseph Keyston in the Nathan Lane revival of Butley. His U.S. screen credits include "Related" and NBC's "A Christmas Carol."

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 34 West 22nd Street. There is a $25 cover charge and a two-drink minimum. Call (212) 206-0440 for reservations.
