News Overture Recording, Featuring 25 Stars from London and Broadway, Available Today The new recording features the songs of Daniel and Laura Curtis.
Overture, a new recording featuring the songs of composers/lyricists Daniel and Laura Curtis, is released digitally October 24.

The double-disc album features 25 artists from the U.S. and U.K.: Marc Broussard (Magnolias and Mistletoe), Earl Carpenter (Les Misérables), Melinda Doolittle (American Idol), Matt Doyle (Book Of Mormon), Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Jason Forbach (Les Misérables), Matthew Ford (Gershwin In Hollywood), Ashleigh Gray (Wicked), Emma Hatton (Wicked), Samantha Hill (Phantom Of The Opera), James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin), Charlotte Jaconelli (She Loves Me), Rachel John (The Bodyguard), Adam Kaplan (Newsies), Emmanuel Kojo (Show Boat), Kara Lily-Hayworth (I See Fire), Rebecca Luker (Fun Home), Jai McDowall (I Begin Again), Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder), Courtney Reed (Aladdin), Krysta Rodriguez (Smash), Will Swenson (Les Misérables), and Natalie Weiss (Les Misérables).

In a statement Laura Curtis said, “We are so excited for people to be able to hear this album as it has been such a long production process. The first recording session was in February and some of the performances we have witnessed from these artists have been astonishing.”

Daniel Curtis added, “Our advice to people buying this album is to put your headphones on, lay down in a dark room and just enjoy the experience. At the end we hope you'll feel like you've had a true immersive theatrical encounter.”

The team working on the album included executive producer Stacy Swain and producer Al Steele, with recording taking place at numerous studios in the U.K. and NYC.
