True Love features a book by Kerri Kochanski, direction by Jonathan Warman, choreography by Liz Piccoli and musical direction by Luke Williams. Inspired by the music of singer-songwriter Alecia Beth Moore (Grammy winner P!nk), it tells the story of Jinx, an up-and-coming rock star in Hollywood who embraces the party lifestyle at the risk of her relationship. As Playbill previously reported, P!nk is not currently involved with the project, though the musical features some of her greatest hits.

The one-day-only presentation will be at the TADA Theater in Manhattan with all tickets priced at $10

True Love is produced by Paul Adams and Emerging Artists Theatre. It received a developmental workshop in New York in May, also at the TADA theatre.

The New Work Series festival runs Oct. 5-25 and features a varied program of theatrical works, from monologue plays, to new musicals such as True Love and experimental theatre. Visit EAT for more information.
