The Roundabout Theatre Company and Gorgeous Entertainment Inc. Present the Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman musical at Studio 54 on Broadway. Previews began Nov. 12 and the work slated through Jan. 30, 2005 opened Dec. 2.

Pacific Overtures follows the introduction of Japan to western civilization, beginning with the landing of Commodore Matthew Perry at the "Floating Kingdom" of Nippon in 1853.
