News Paige Price Appointed Equity First Vice President Actress Paige Price has been elected elected Actors' Equity's new First Vice President, the performers union announced Oct. 17.

The election was held on Oct. 27. Previously, Price served on the Equity Council as a Principal Eastern Councillor since 2001 and as Vice Chair of the Eastern Regional Board for the 2005-06 season. She was a member of the Production Contract Negotiating Team for both the 2000 and 2004 negotiations, and has been on the Eastern Production Contract Committee since 1998. As an actress, Price has starred on Broadway in Saturday Night Fever, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Beauty and the Beast and the pre-Broadway run of Busker Alley. He touring credits include A Chorus Line and 42nd Street. She wrote and starred in her one-woman show "The Exfiles." In addition to appearing in the first season of the NBC hit "Ed," her television and film credits include "All The Right Moves" starring Tom Cruise, "Stop the World I Want to Get Off," "Newhart," and "The Equalizer."
