News Pasadena Playhouse Promises Sleepless in Seattle, Fallen Angels, Intimate Apparel and Broadway-Aimed Under My Skin The Pasadena Playhouse's 2012-13 season will feature the world premiere of what's billed as a Broadway-bound comedy, Under My Skin, by Robert Sternin and Prudence Fraser.

Sternin and Fraser's TV credits include being producers and writers of the sitcom "The Nanny." Their new fantasy-comedy will be directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, a Tony Award nominee for her direction of the Broadway revival of Ragtime.

Pasadena leaders also confirmed on April 13 their intention to premiere the postponed musical Sleepless in Seattle in summer 2013. The songwriter(s) for that movie-inspired project has not been revealed. The script is by the hit film's co-screenwriter Jeff Arch. Playbill reported about the project's postponement earlier this year

Plays by Noel Coward and Lynn Nottage were also announced; a "surprise production" planned for March 2013 will be announced later. In a partnership with Lythgoe Family Productions, a special presentation of A Snow White Christmas, in the British "Panto" tradition, will be offered for the holiday season.

Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, CA, is under the leadership of Sheldon Epps, artistic director, and Charles Dillingham, interim executive director.

Still grieving his wife's untimely death, Sam's heart is given a second chance at romance when his son calls a talk radio show to help him find new love.
