The one-performance-only event — headed by original director David Warren — will be presented at 7 PM at the Laura Pels Theatre. The complete original cast — including Leslie Ayvazian (A Naked Girl on the Appian Way), Patricia Clarkson (Three Days of Rain, "Pieces of April"), Peter Frechette (The Odd Couple, "Thirtysomething"), Brian Kerwin (August: Osage County, "Big Love") and Anthony Rapp (Rent, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown) — are all part of the anniversary performance.

Raised in Captivity follows the "story of two estranged siblings who reunite at their mother's funeral," according to an announcement. The work premiered at The Vineyard in 1995 in a sold-out run.

The special reunion follows the recent anniversary reading of Polly Pen and Peggy Harmon's musical Goblin Market. Original cast members Terri Klausner and Ann Morrison starred in the Nov. 11 and 12 event at the Vineyard.

Silver's The Agony and the Agony was presented in a developmental run by the Off-Broadway company December 2006. The scribe's other works include The Food Chain, Pterodactyls, The Atruists, The Eros Trilogy, Beautiful Child, Fit To Be Tied, The Maiden's Prayer and the book for the Broadway revival of The Boys From Syracuse.
