News Patrick Wilson Joins Anne Hathaway in New Film "Passengers" Patrick Wilson will star opposite Anne Hathaway in the upcoming thriller "Passengers," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film being produced and financed by Mandate Pictures will be directed by Rodrigo Garcia. Columbia Pictures will release domestically.

"Passengers," written by Ronnie Christensen, "centers on a grief counselor (Hathaway) who helps six plane crash survivors and develops a special connection with one of them (Wilson)," according to the trade mag. "When the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, she suspects a conspiracy and becomes determined to uncover the truth."

Wilson, recently seen in the Broadway revival of Barefoot in the Park, has previously appeared in Oklahoma!, The Full Monty and The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm. Other credits include Bright Lights, Big City, the film version of The Phantom of the Opera and HBO's small screen take on Angels in America. He can currently be seen on screens in "Little Children."

Hathaway has appeared on the stage in the Encores! presentation of Carnival. The actress is known for her film turns in "The Princess Diaries," "Brokeback Mountain" and "The Devil Wears Prada." She next appears in the title role of the biographical film "Becoming Jane" about the literary Austen.
