The Full Monty premiered on Broadway in 2000, with a score by David Yazbek. It tells the story of six unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, NY, who decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a local touring Chippendales company.
Wilson originated the role of Jerry Lukowski, the leader of group who decides that they will be better than Chippendales because they will go "all the way." The Full Monty features such songs as "It's a Woman's World" and "You Walk With Me".
