A second concert was added for January 24, and that evening also sold out quickly.
“She was very generous in making another performance happen,” Kevin O’Neill, the Engeman’s owner and managing director, told Newsday. “Now it will enable 400 more people to see her and it will raise that much more money for the Northport high school.”
The Olivier winner will offer her newest concert evening, Don't Monkey with Broadway, which will also feature members of the Northport High School Choir.
LuPone was most recently seen in the world premiere of the Broadway-aimed musical War Paint.
