The uAward, given annually to an outstanding solo performer, will be presented during the United Solo Theatre Festival, which will run Oct. 20-Nov. 20 in New York City.
LuPone is nominated for her latest solo concert, The Gypsy in My Soul; while Lithgow is recognized for Stories by Heart; Williams for Weapons of Self Destruction; and Beaty for his Off-Broadway solo show, Through the Night.
The 2010 honor was presented to Anna Deavere Smith for Let Me Down Easy.
