The 6 PM discussion, which will be held at the David H. Koch Theater, will feature choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Tony-winning actress-singer Patti LuPone and NYCB Principal Dancer Wendy Whelan as they discuss the creation of Taylor-Corbett's new work for New York City Ballet.

A sung ballet in seven scenes, The Seven Deadly Sins was composed by Kurt Weill and has a libretto by Bertolt Brecht. It was first performed at the Théatre de Champs-Elysées in Paris on June 7, 1933, and was produced, directed and choreographed by Balanchine. In 1958 Balanchine revived the production for New York City Ballet. Lotte Lenya was the star in 1933 and 1958.

A morality play, Seven Deadly Sins tells the story of Anna, who is played by both a singer (in this case, LuPone, known for Broadway's Evita, Gypsy, Anything Goes, Sweeney Todd and the recent Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) and a dancer (Wendy Whelan). Performances are 7 PM May 11, 3 PM and 8 PM May 12, 8 PM May 13, 2 PM and 8 PM May 14 and 3 PM May 15.
