An air-date has not been determined for the two episodes featuring LuPone (Gypsy, Evita). "Girls," created by and starring Lena Dunham, premiered in 2012. The third season of "Girls" will air in 2014.

The series, according to HBO, "takes a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s.... Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna are trying to figure life out. They’ve been living in New York for a couple of years, but they’re still not sure what they want – from boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren’t getting any clearer."

The cast also features Jemima Kirke (“Tiny Furniture”), Allison Williams (“American Dreams”), Zosia Mamet (“Mad Men”) and Adam Driver (Angels in America, HBO’s “You Don’t Know Jack”).

Guest stars have also included Andrew Rannells, Becky Ann Baker, Peter Scolari, Mike Birbiglia, Kathryn Hahn, Michael Imperioli and more.

LuPone is having a busy season with television appearances. She is also part of the third series of "American Horror Story: Coven," which is filming in New Orleans. It features Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Christine Ebersole and more.
