Adam and Eve, as viewed/skewed by Paul Rudnick, will get a fantastical retelling of their story in The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told when it world premieres July 1 on the Nikos Stage of the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The piece runs through July 12. Directing will be Christopher Ashley, a practiced hand at Rudnick plays (the stage and screen Jeffrey, The Naked Eye and the recent one-act Mr. Charles.

Peter Bartlett, the Mr. Charles in question, stars with Jessica Hecht of The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Becky Ann Baker of Titanic, Maggie Moore of Jackie, Alan Tudyk of Bunny Bunny, Michi Barall of Sueno, Michael Wiggins of Timon of Athens and Bobby Cannavale of A Flea in Her Ear.
