Arena Stage in Washington, DC, recently mounted the romantic musical about love and betrayal in the context of dawning democracy. Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY, will present an unrelated revival in spring. Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey revived the work in 2003.

A Broadway revival adapted by Edward Hall is in development as a vehicle for Liam Neeson.
