News Paul Williams, Rupert Holmes, Jeremy Kushnier, Morgan James, Alice Ripley Are Rockers On Broadway Oct. 15 Academy Award-winning composer Paul Williams ("A Star Is Born") and Tony Award-winning composer Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) headline Rockers On Broadway – Behind the Music, the latest edition of Broadway's rock 'n' roll concert series, Oct. 15 at the newly redesigned Cutting Room in NYC.

The 8 PM concert features songs written by pop and rock 'n' roll artists such as Elton John (The Lion King), Pete Townshend (The Who's Tommy), Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Billy Joel (Movin' Out). Headliners Williams and Holmes are also the evening's lifetime achievement honorees.

Behind the Music, honoring crossover songwriters who have written chart-topping hits as well as musicals for theatre, film and television, will also include a tribute to the late Marvin Hamlisch (A Chorus Line).

Performers at the event include Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid), Preston Boyd, Ariana Groover, Morgan James (Godspell), John Herrera (Threepenny Opera), Adam Kantor (Rent), Chad Kimball (Memphis), Donnie Kehr (Jersey Boys), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Jeremy Kushnier (Jesus Christ Superstar), Michael Lanning (Bonnie & Clyde), Ryan Link (Wonderland), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Leslie Odom, Jr. (Leap of Faith), Ryann Redmond (Bring It On), Bryce Ryness (Leap of Faith), Jeremy Schonfeld, Sara Schmidt (Jersey Boys), John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), Donald Webber and Alice Ripley (Next to Normal). 

Kenny Ascher, Micky Dolenz (The Monkees) and Alan Kalter ("Late Night with David Letterman") will make special guest appearances. 

Proceeds from the evening benefit The ASCAP Foundation's Children Will Listen Program, The Broadway Dreams Foundation and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Rockers is presented by The Path Fund Inc.
