News Pawk, Weaver, McCourt, Gilpin Star in March 20 Reading of Shaw's Heartbreak House A reading of Shaw's Heartbreak House, the third event in the ongoing series known as "Project Shaw," will occur at The Players Club in Gramercy Park on March 20 at 7 PM.

Michele Pawk will appear in Heartbreak House.

Recently added to the cast are Ciaran O'Reilly as Boss Mangan, George Dvorsky as Randall Utterword, Phyllis Newman and Time Out New York critic David Cote. The latter two will act as narrators. Alison Hubbard will play flute.

Fritz Weaver will play Captain Shotover. Charlotte Moore (artistic director of Irish Rep, here making a rare acting appearance) is Lady Utterword. Malachy McCourt will play The Burgler. Michele Pawk inhabits the part of Hesione Hushabye. Lynn Cohen is Nurse Guinness. Laura O'Deh essays Ellie Dunn. Jack Gilpin portrays Hector Hushabye. Simon Jones steps into the role of Mazzini Dunn.

John Simon, who has called Heartbreak House one of his favorite plays, will be introducing the presentation.

The series is being produced and directed by David Staller, who recently acted with Dana Ivey in Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession at the Irish Repertory Theatre. Dates stretching throughout 2006 and beyond will provide an airing of every sketch, full-length and one-act play by the playwright.

The project got underway Jan. 23 with Arms and the Man. Malcolm Gets, Marc Kudisch, Cynthia Harris, Nancy Anderson and George S. Irving were in that cast. Fanny's First Play followed on Feb. 27.

Each reading takes place at The Players Club. All casting is subject to change.

All readings are on Monday at 7 PM, except where otherwise indicated. A current schedule, subject to change, runs as follows:

April 17: You Never Can Tell
May 8 at noon: Two one-acts, Overruled and Augustus Does His Bit
June 19: Getting Married
July 17: John Bull's Other Island
Sept. 18: The Apple Cart
Oct. 23: Misalliance
Nov. 20: Captain Brassbound's Conversion
Dec. 18: The Philanderer
