Oliver Goldsmith's classic 1773 comedy, She Stoops to Conquer , is given another look Sept. 17-Oct. 24 at Off Broadway's Pearl Theatre Company. Celeste Ciulla plays Kate Hardcastle, who in the play masquerades as a bar maid in order to capture the affections of Christopher Moore's Marlow, who gets along famously with the lower classes but fumbles in his interactions with high-born ladies.
Also in the cast are John Camera, Sally Kemp, Edward Seamon, Jay Stratton, Constance Neville, Scott Whitehurst, Dominic Cuskern, John Livingstone Rolle, Stewart Carrico and Mary Molloy.
