Loose Ends follows the tumultuous relationship of a world-travelling man and woman in the 1970s, from their first meeting on a beach in Bali to their marriage in Boston to an unexpected revelation when they are reunited in New York. The lead female role — previously announced to be Neve Campbell — is currently being cast, according to a production spokesperson.

The cast will also feature Kieren van den Blink (as Janice), Sara Kathryn Bakker (Maraya), Phil Burke (Doug), Gregory Martin (Lawrence), Teresa L. Goding (Selina), Carter Jackson (Russell), Dinh Doan (Phil/Balinese Fisherman) and Steven Sendor (Ben Baumer).

Christian Campbell — who recently appeared in Great Expectations — starred in the Off-Broadway musical Reefer Madness and reprised that turn in the Showtime movie version. He also appeared in the short-lived NBC television show "The Book of Daniel" and the ABC soap "All My Children." Other credits include the national tour of tick... tick... BOOM! as well as the London production of that musical.

Kramer appeared in the film "Bring It On" and had a recurring role on the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Her stage credits include turns in The Miracle Worker, Light Up the Sky, Beyond Therapy and Beginnings. Pendleton recently directed a revival of Lillian Hellman's Toys in the Attic at the Pearl Theatre. The actor and Tony Award-nominated director has appeared on Broadway in The Diary of Anne Frank, Grand Hotel, Doubles and The Little Foxes. Seen in such films as "My Cousin Vinny," "Amistad" and "A Beautiful Mind," he also lent his voice to the animated "Finding Nemo." Pendleton directed Weller's Spoils of War Off-Broadway in 1988 — which later transferred to Broadway.

Loose Ends made its world premiere at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. in February 1979. The Alan Schneider-directed production moved to Broadway's Circle in the Square where it opened May 25, 1979. Roxanne Hart and Kevin Kline starred as the lead couple in a cast that also included Jay O. Sanders and Jodi Long. The play was revived Off-Broadway in 1988 with Terry Kinney, Jane Kaczmarek and Laurence Fishburne.
