The comedic duo Penn & Teller are performing at the Wilshire Theatre in Los Angeles, Mar. 24-Apr. 15, officially opening Mar. 25. They, of course, are serving up hearty portions of their own special brand of offbeat practical jokes and onstage "miracles." And this time they'll do card tricks with fork lifts, put bunny rabbits in shredders, and catch bullets with their teeth.
The pair, who have performed three major NY engagements both on and Off-Broadway (including Penn & Teller: The Refrigerator Tour and Penn & Teller Rot in Hell), play evil magicians 'Paine' and 'Terrore' on the Steven Spielberg CD-ROM "Director's Chair." In addition, they have won an Emmy for the PBS special "Penn & Teller Go Public."
The Wilshire Theatre is at 8440 Wilshire Blvd. In Beverly Hills. For tickets, $32-$42, call (213) 365-3500.
