News People You May Know 2.0 Will Feature Music of Ryan Scott Oliver, Paul Loesel and Scott Burkell People You May Know 2.0, a concert exploring and celebrating new composing artists, will be held at the Triad Aug. 28.

Written and performed by Michael Deleget, Leslie Henstock and Erin Sjostrom, the concert begins at 7 PM and combines the songs of Deleget, Henstock and Sjostrom along with the familiar songs from composers that have been influential to their work.

The evening will feature the songs of Paul Loesel and Scott Burkell, Ryan Scott Oliver and Georgia Stitt.

According to press notes, "By including traditional influences that have shaped the musical theatre genre along with today's most exciting music, we hope to broaden the concept of the 'Great American Songbook.' Attendees will hear songs by Stephen Sondheim, Sara Bareilles, Rodgers and Hart and Rufus Wainwright as well as the featured composers' pieces."

Andrew Byrne will musically direct the evening that features Mat Fieldes on bass, Larry Lelli on drums and Austin Moorhead on guitar.
