News Performances by Christine Ebersole, Stephen Schwartz and Jessie Mueller To Be Broadcast on NJTV Taped recordings of the American Songbook series at New Jersey's Performing Arts Center will be broadcast on NJTV beginning Jan. 6, 2016. Christine Ebersole, Stephen Schwartz and Jessie Mueller were among the performers who took part in the live events.

The six-part series was recorded before a live audience at NJPAC's 500-seat Victoria Theater this fall. The complete line-up of performers also featured Marilyn Maye, Jarrod Spector, Catherine Russell, KT Sullivan, Jeff Harnar and Playbill's Seth Rudetsky.

Hosted by Ted Chapin, "American Songbook at NJPAC" will debut at 8 PM as part of the network's NJmade local programming initiative and will continue to air weekly. It will also be broadcast on Thirteen and WLIW21 in the spring.

"NJTV is dedicated to making the arts accessible to everyone, delivering exciting live performances such as these directly into local living rooms and classrooms," said John Servidio, general manager of NJTV in a press statement. "This series assures a front-row seat for everyone to enjoy and appreciate this timeless musical genre."

This is the third series of "American Songbook at NJPAC," which was nominated this year for a 2015 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award. To take a look at clips from the previous season, click here.
