News Peri Gilpin, Richard Kind, Kathy Najimy, Jean Smart Will Appear in Return of Gay-Marriage Plays in West Hollywood Standing on Ceremony: The Gay-Marriage Plays, an evening of one-acts written in response to America's ongoing marriage-equality debate, will have an encore run on Monday nights at Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood. The readings began there Feb. 7.

The series of performances will play Monday nights March 28-June 20. All performances will begin at 8 PM.

Peri Gilpin, Richard Kind, Wendie Malick, Kathy Najimy and Tony Award nominee Jean Smart will lead the cast for the March 28 performance. Full casting for each performance will be announced at a later time.

The plays were written by Jordan Harrison, Jeffrey Hatcher, Tony Award nominee Moises Kaufman, Tony Award nominee Neil LaBute, Wendy MacLeod, Kathy Najimy, Jose Rivera, Paul Rudnick and Tony Award winner Doug Wright.

Standing on Ceremony was conceived and directed by Brian Shnipper. The evening will be produced by Joan Stein and Stuart Ross, with associate producer Allain Rochel. The evening was previously presented at El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood and at New York Theatre Workshop.
