Two readings of the new "comedy musical" will be presented April 6 (at 2 PM) and April 9 (at 6:30 PM) at the New Dance Group Studios in Manhattan. Directed by Thommie Walsh and Cynthia Onrubia, the readings will boast the talents of Jennifer Perry, Stacey Todd Holt, Jacqueline Arnold, Michael West, John Treacy Egan, Holly Holcomb, Rob Sutton, Niki Scalera, Joey Calveri, Jay Rogers, Lori Eure, Nick Dalton, Chandra Lee Schwartz, Bill Nolte, Michael Cunio, Craig McEldowney, Morgan James and Wendy Fox. Idaho!, according to press notes, is "a classic story of love and adventure, ripped from the earth like a fresh-dug spud . . . from a land where men are men, sheep wear lipstick and the laws of musical comedy were made to be broken." The musical features a book and score by Morris Sheffield and Keith Thompson.
