News Peter and the Starcatcher and Billy Elliot Set Chicago-Area Regional Premieres The Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook, IL, has announced plans to produce the Tony Award-winning musical Billy Elliot, as well as the Tony-winning play with music Peter and the Starcatcher as part of its 2015-16 season.

Billy Elliot, which will ruin April 10-June 7, 2015, will feature direction by Rachel Rockwell. The musical based on the Academy Award-nominated film, has a score by Elton John and a book by Lee Hall.

The regional premiere of Peter and the Starcatcher, the Tony-winning work that imagines the origins of the Peter Pan legend, will run Aug. 27-Oct. 18. William Osetek will direct the play that is adapted by Rick Elice and based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.

Also planned for the 2015-16 season is the stage thriller Deathtrap (June 24-Aug. 16); the stage adaptation of Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Oct. 30-Jan. 3, 2016); and the classic Bye Bye Birdie (Jan. 24-March 20, 2016).
