News Peter Dinklage Will Team With Melissa McCarthy for New Comedy Peter Dinklage, currently starring alongside Taylor Schilling in Ivan Turgenev's A Month in the Country at Classic Stage Company, has been cast in the comedy film "Michelle Darnell," according to Variety.com.

Dinklage will co-star with Melissa McCarthy in the film, which is based on an original character created by McCarthy. The script will be written by Ben Falcone, McCarthy and Steve Mallory. Falcone will direct. The story follows a titan of industry, who is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading. When she emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart, not everyone she screwed over is so quick to forgive and forget.

Dinklage, who will play the antagonist, starred in the title role in Richard III at the Public Theater, Charlie Kaufman's radio play Theater of the New Ear at St. Ann's Warehouse, Things We Want by Jonathan Marc Sherman at The New Group and Uncle Vanya at Bard Summerscape. Dinklage's film credits include "The Station Agent," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "Death at a Funeral" and "Living in Oblivion."

The film will be released April 8, 2016. Falcone and McCarthy are also producing along with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.
