Tom Donaghy's play will be read at 7 PM at the Ars Nova Theatre. Directed by Donaghy, the reading will feature the talents of Peter Frechette, Heidi Armbruster, Enid Graham, Annalee Jeffries and Matt McGrath. According to production notes, Eden Lane concerns "May and Philip, [who] are excited about their newly renovated house in the suburbs. But moving doesn't necessarily include leaving your problems behind — in fact, new ones may arise." Des McAnuff directed the premiere of Eden Lane at the La Jolla Playhouse in July 2003. Playwright Donaghy is also the author of Boys and Girls, The Beginning of August, Minutes From the Blue Route and Northeast Local.
Peter Frechette has appeared on Broadway in Eastern Standard, Our Country's Good, Any Given Day and The Play's the Thing. He received Tony nominations for his performances in Our Country's Good and Eastern Standard as well as a Theatre World Award for his performance in the latter. Frechette's many screen credits include "thirtysomething," "Grease 2," "No Small Affair," "Dream Street," "Paint It Black," "Barbarians at the Gate," "Chasing the Dragon," "The First Wives Club," and "Milk & Money."
