News Peter Michael Marino, Creator of Desperately Seeking Susan Musical, to Guest at Anniversary Screening of Film New York-based writer and performer Peter Michael Marino, whose stage musical version of the film "Desperately Seeking Susan" opened at the West End's Novello Theatre in 2007, is to appear as a guest at a 30th anniversary screening of the 1985 film at London's Prince Charles Cinema Sept. 6.

At the screening, he will present extracts from his one-man show about the process of adapting the film for the stage, called Desperately Seeking the Exit, that he previously presented on the Edinburgh Fringe and at London's Leicester Square Theatre. He will also present his latest one-man show, Late with Lance!, that he is currently appearing in on the Edinburgh Fringe, at London's Arts Theatre the next night, Sept. 7, for one performance only. The show is a spoof of solo shows, which resulted from his own boredom with spending two-and-a-half years doing Desperately Seeking the Exit.
