News Peter Pan to Fly Into London's 02 for the Holidays The new multi-media production of Peter Pan, which premiered in a purpose-built tent that was pitched in Kensington Gardens (where the story is set) in May 2009 and concluded its run there Sept. 13, is now set to fly again at London's 02 for a six-week Christmas season, with performances beginning Dec. 1 for a run through Jan. 10, 2010.

The pavilion, which will see an increase in capacity to 1,350 people, will be situated in the Meridian Gardens at The O2. The production at the O2 will incorporate changes to the production being implemented ahead of its opening a 20-month U.S. tour in San Franciso in May 2010. A second production will also open in New Zealand in January 2011 at the start of a Far Eastern tour. The production has played to over 150,000 people in Kensington Gardens. Written by Tanya Ronder from JM Barrie's story, it is directed by Ben Harrison and designed by William Dudley. The cast is headed by Ciaran Kellgren as Peter Pan, Abby Ford as Wendy Darling, Jonathan Hyde as Captain Hook/Mr. Darling, Karen Ascoe as Mrs. Darling, with Arthur Wilson as John Darling and David Poynor as Michael Darling. It is produced by Charlie Burnell and Mat Churchill for ThreeSixty Entertainment Ltd, and presented by arrangement with the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Samuel French Limited.
