News Peter Stone Shares Memories of Paris at Bay St. Theatre July 28 Librettist Peter Stone, who wrote the books to the musicals Titanic and 1776, among others, will share his recollections of life in the City of Light on July 28, at 8 PM, at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, Long Island. The event is "I Love Paris in the 50's," part of the theatre's "Summer Tuesdays" series.

Librettist Peter Stone, who wrote the books to the musicals Titanic and 1776, among others, will share his recollections of life in the City of Light on July 28, at 8 PM, at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, Long Island. The event is "I Love Paris in the 50's," part of the theatre's "Summer Tuesdays" series. Joining Stone will be writers Art Buchwald, Peter Matthiessen and George Plimpton, and editor Ben Bradlee, all of whom lived in Paris during the decade in question. Shana Alexander will moderate as the panelists reminisce about James Baldwin, Jean Paul Sartre, Edith Piaf, and the founding of the Paris Review.
