News Phantom Star Davis Gaines Offers Holiday Music in Florida, Dec. 18-21 Former Phantom of the Opera star Davis Gaines will perform several evenings of holiday music this month at Florida's Lowndes Shakespeare Center.

Gaines will offer his "Songs of the Season" concert from Dec. 18-21 at the Center's Margeson Theatre. Craig Ames will accompany the singer-actor on piano. Davis Gaines received the Bay Area Critics' Award for Best Actor for his work as the Phantom in the West Coast production of The Phantom of the Opera, a role he repeated on Broadway. His other theatrical credits include the world premiere of Whistle Down the Wind, the Encores! staging of The Boys From Syracuse; as well as Hello, Dolly!; Forbidden Broadway and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Gaines has performed with major symphony orchestras in North America, and his two solo recordings, "Against the Tide" and "All My Tomorrows: Songs of Sammy Cahn," are available on LAP Records.

The Ken and Trisha Margeson Theatre is located in Loch Haven Park in Orlando, FL. Tickets for the concerts are priced at $40 and are available by calling (407) 447-1700, ext. 1.
