News Phantom's Shayne to Star in Schoolhouse Theater's Biography Tracy Shayne, who has appeared on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, Chicago and Les Misérables, will make her Schoolhouse Theater debut March 5.

Shayne will star in S. N. Berhman's 1932 screwball comedy Biography, which will play the Croton Falls venue through March 29.

In a statement Pamela Moller Kareman, Schoolhouse's artistic director, said, "The gods of theatre have smiled on us all with the marriage of Tracy Shayne and S. N. Behrman's Biography. I can think of no other actress to play the glamorous, charismatic and beautiful Marian Froude, and am thrilled to be able to bring this amazing pairing to Northern Westchester audiences."

The cast also features Neal Mayer, Kevin Albert, Sarah Bennett, Keith Barber, Cheryl Orsini, Tyne Firmin and George Karman.

In Biography, press notes state, "heroine Marian Froude is a gorgeous, renowned and promiscuous portrait painter whose subjects include the powerbrokers of the time. When she is approached to write her biography, her subjects come running and the comedy explodes into a maddening clash of ethics and ideas."
