The world premiere of Log Cabin, by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison, has found its complete cast.

Joining previously announced stage and screen star Jesse Tyler Ferguson in the Playwrights Horizons production will be Obie Award winner Phillip James Brannon (Antipodes, Bootycandy), Cindy Cheung (High Maintenance, 13 Reasons Why), stand-up comedian and actor Ian Harvie (Transparent, The Ian Harvie Show), Talene Monahon (Tell Hector I Miss Him, The Wild Party), and Dolly Wells (The Whirligig, Bridget Jones’s Diary).

Directed by Tony winner Pam MacKinnon, Log Cabin will begin performances June 1 ahead of a June 25 opening. Performances will run in the company’s Mainstage Theater through July 15.

Ferguson will play the protagonist, Ezra, in the new ensemble-driven comedy from playwright Harrison (Marjorie Prime, The Amateurs). Set in 2015, “a faraway age of hope and inclusivity,“ Log Cabin sees a tight-knit group of gays and lesbians consider the new mainstream through the eyes of their transgender friend.

The play will be the the sixth and final production of the theatre company’s current 2017–2018 season.

Log Cabin will feature scenic design by Tony Award nominee Allen Moyer, costume design by Lortel Award winner Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Obie Award winner Russell H. Champa, and sound design by Lortel Award winner Leah Gelpe. Production stage manager will be Amanda Spooner.
