Originally presented as part of NCTC's Emerging Artists Program, Dolls will run through Feb. 22, 2008, under the direction of Andrew Nance. "It's the Day-After-Christmas (also known as 'Orientation Day' for dolls) and you're a brand new resident of the United Shelves of Frank's Collection," according to Dolls press notes. "Get to know your new neighbors — including a political porcelain, an openly gay action figure, an embittered Barbie knock-off and more — in this animated new one-man comedy."
Onstage Phillis has been seen in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby and The Dying Gaul. His plays include Finding Mrs. Miller, D*Face and Wish We Were Here, which was presented as part of the 2008 New York International Theatre Festival.
