Nixon's Nixon, the two-character fictional speculation of a genuine, but private, dialogue between President Richard Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, gets another regional outing, Sept. 29-Oct. 29 at Philadelphia's InterAct Theatre Company.

The satire by Russell Lees — which has power games aplenty, with Kissinger assuming roles of Chairman Mao, JFK and others, officially opens Oct. 4. Tim Moyer and Harry Philibosian star as Tricky Dick and Dr. K.

The play takes place on the eve of Nixon's 1974 resignation. Nixon and Kissinger grapple with the inevitable — more specifically, the Watergate scandal and the pros and cons of leaving office. The play is based on a real-life, private meeting between the president and his Secretary of State.

Designing this mounting of Nixon's Nixon are Nick Embree (sets), Peter Whinnery (lighting) and Janet Embree (costumes).
