Photographer Bob Deutsch has been shooting theatre and movie stars since the 1960’s. Living in New York City, he was able to make contact with many stars by hanging around at Broadway theaters. What started as a youthful passion led to free-lancing for Time, Newsweek, and People Magazines.
Invitations to star-studded parties, and nights spent at Studio 54, added many top celebrities to Bob’s portfolio. Bob stopped his photography career in the early 1980’s to pursue other interests. For the next 25 years, the images remained filed away, until Bob agreed to an exhibit of his work, “Stars Thru My Lens”. A new exhibit will be held in Fort Lauderdale, in December.
