News PHOTO CALL: 42nd Street's Jones Immortalized at Sardi's Shirely Jones, known to Broadway audiences from her current turn in 42nd Street, was recently given a caricature at Sardi's restaurant in the heart of Broadway.

Sardi's frequently bestows such an honor on those individuals who have made a lasting and important impact on the Broadway community. Jones, having appeared in such notable films as "Oklahoma" and "Carousel", also appeared on Broadway as a replacement in the original production of South Pacific.

Joining her to commenorate the caricature's unveiling were Frank Basile, Celeste Holm, and son and 42nd Street co-star Patrick Cassidy. The four are seen in front of the previously unveiled caricatures of Jones' offspring David, Patrick, and Shaun, as well as father and husband Jack Cassidy.
