News PHOTO CALL: A First Look at the Next to Normal National Tour with Alice Ripley, Emma Hunton and More Next to Normal — the 2009 Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical — launched its first national tour, starring Tony-winning original cast member Alice Ripley and Spring Awakening's Emma Hunton, at the Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

Tony-winning director Michael Greif repeats his staging for the tour, which, in addition to Ripley and Hunton, features Asa Somers (Grey Gardens, Taboo) as Dan, Curt Hansen (Hairspray) as Gabe, Preston K. Sadleir (Me, Myself & I) as Henry and Jeremy Kushnier (Footloose, Rent) as Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine.
