The Winter's Tale celebrated its opening at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park July 6. Brian Kulick (left) directs with choreography by Naomi Goldberg and a star performance from Putting It Together's Bronson Pinchot as Autolycus. One of Shakespeare's late romances, Winter's Tale is both comedy and tragedy with a fierce king (Keith David) whose jealousy destroys his wife (Aunjanue Ellis) and exiles his child (Erica M. Tazel) who is then raised by a comic old shepard (Bill Buell), while never knowing who she really is. Tickets for The Winter's Tale are free (only two tickets per person), and can be picked up on performance days for that evening at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park starting at 1 PM.
