Jonathan Bernstein directs the Robert and Willie Reale musical, which is based upon Arnold Lobel's beloved children's books. Press notes state, "A Year with Frog and Toad follows the woodland adventures of two amphibious friends, as worrywart toad and a perky frog, with their assorted colorful hopping, crawling and flying companions, over the course of a year. Waking from hibernation, they plant gardens, meet new friends, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and, as the time for hibernation again approaches, learn about friendship and the different things that make each of individual unique." The cast features Saum Eskandani, Enzo Gentile, Julia Averill, Barbara Hollander and Hernando Umana.
Performances take place at the Atlantic's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues).
