News PHOTO CALL: Albee Brings Together Unlikely Couples in New Production of Classic Seascape Two of Broadway’s steady hands over the years (Frances Sternhagen and George Grizzard) meet two of its newest talents (Elizabeth Marvel and Frederick Weller) in the Broadway revivial of Edward Albee’s Seascape, currently in previews at the Booth Theatre.

Albee was awarded his second Pulitzer Prize for Seascape, a “comedy [that] explores the latter stages of a middle-aged couple's marriage and their chance meeting with a younger couple on the beach - who happen to be lizards”, according to production notes.

At left and below, Sternhagen and Grizzard are seen during one of the show’s preview performances. Seascape is scheduled to officially open on Nov. 21, in a Lincoln Center Theater production under the direction of Mark Lamos.
